I did sell too early, and it was a lesson learned. At the time I was trading and when I do, I set parameters for myself (% gain or % lost I am comfortable with). So once those are met, I sell. As long as I'm following my plan and not deviating, I am aright with that. For the next crash, I will hope to get in at such good prices and hold for longer. I am still holding my United Airlines shares from the bottom.

Yes, dollar cost averaging in this case would be a disaster. I think dollar cost averaging is better for companies with less volatility. but overall, I use and believe in dollar cost averaging for most positions.

Exactly! The stock market can be juts as exciting. It just takes some work to stay on top of things and find stocks that might break out soon. I'm considering getting back into some minor trading like this, based on how the markets been recently, but just need to make time to do the right analysis.
