I'm not familiar with the background of the Great Depression and what economic factors caused it. But I sure hope we don't experience something similar to it.

Can you elaborate on what you mean by "pressing the gas down on the economy?"

I'm not too worried about the fact that our economy is not "actually producing anything." I think we've been headed that way for years and will continue down that path even more.
