I was going to write my own piece on inflation and how CPI doesn't reflect all that's going on with stimulus and stock gains, but couldn't think of the right direction for it.
It does however show that if you aren't heavily invested in the market, you are losing out even more as your purchasing power is decreasing. I'm personally moving more of my money from savings to the market this year (im still in my 20s so I can afford the risk) but want to make 2021 a year I can look back and realize the investment decisions I made had a big impact when older
